“Don’t. Fuck. With. The. System.” The man was distinct in each of these words. Stephen struggled still against the iron grip slowly cutting off his air supply. He began wildly slapping the man’s arm in an effort for some relief, until finally he uttered the correct word.

“All... right.”

As Stephen Long, a devout Christian and vigorous researcher, works towards a cure for PDD, he finds his conscience and holiness tested at every turn. Nothing is as it seems, as he unravels the mystery behind the drug Particip, and how these catastrophic effects play God in a true detriment to society.

MY FATHER, NOT MY FATHER
NON-FICTION BIOGRAPHY

The memoir of a father who took in a broken boy, treated him like family, gave him respect, then taught him how to be a father to his own children. The book chronicles the life of the man I would go on to call Dad, how he came to be, and why he would be the kindest soul I’ve ever met. This is the biography of Ernest E. Schmidt

Sometimes even a simply-led life can be just that much more extraordinary. From growing up after dark times in the United States, to building his own homes, to serving in the Korean War, the life led deserved a book to be told about him and how he impacted my life and many of those around him.

THE PILGRIMAGE TO WATER
AFRICAN REALISM
IN PROCESS

Each day we turn on a spigot and have running water is sometimes not a reality for other parts of the world. This journey, usually fraught with peril, can rarely become a delightful event for those involved. This book is a journey for the women and children of a small Ethiopian village as they travel more than a day's length to bring back water for their village. The harrowing and gut-wrenching challenges are chronicled as it helps to bring the realization that, in your part of the world, sometimes we take something as simple as water for granted.

A majority of the proceeds will go toward benefiting Water.org and their crusade to provide safe drinking water to many of the drought-riddled places of the world.

About The Author

Born during the revolution of art and culture, the 1970's offered many world changes. Technological advancements were key. Jeff grew up during the Vietnam exodus to the Washington D.C. area, providing a large pool of cultural difference and ideals. But life was not peachy keen, and Jeff struggled with inner turmoil, anger, and depression most of his life.

With a major influence in several teachers who took time to explore his writing capabilities, Jeff took up writing at the age of nine and continued to loosely pull his thoughts and ideas into stories he's crafted over the last forty years. Many of them will probably never see the light of day, as many more have been lost through his transient teens and young adult life. But many of the notions, ideas, and stories have survived in his head through those decades.

His desire to share unique and individual stories based on craftiness and unique humor will eventually be fully on display. But you have the chance to get into his mind for some of the stories he's crafted by buying his (currently) self-published books. Many will delight, some will reel, but the desire to live the storyteller life is strongly his desire.

Major writing influences: Ernest Hemingway, Charles Bukowski, Maya Angelou, Douglas Adams, William Shakespeare
